On 1 October 2026 The Sweat Foundation announced that Sweat Wallet and SWEAT in their present form end on 30 December 2026. The app works until then and you keep earning. You don't lose your SWEAT if you hold your own key: the token lives on the NEAR blockchain. Do these five things:

  1. Back up your private key and NEAR account ID: Profile → Security → View private key → Copy. Store it with the account ID shown at the top of your wallet. Step by step.
  2. Claim your earned SWEAT into your wallet.
  3. Empty your Grow Jars when you choose: Grow → Empty All (no minimum term since 12 October). Keep a few liquid SWEAT for fees.
  4. Move balances on other chains (Ethereum, Base, BSC, Arbitrum) held in the app to a wallet you control.
  5. Optional: add a secret phrase (Profile → Security → Add secret phrase; small gas fee) and write it down.

Is Sweat Wallet shutting down?

Sweat Wallet and the SWEAT token as they exist today end on 30 December 2026. The app keeps working until then. The SWEAT token continues to exist on NEAR and on the EVM chains it is bridged to.

Will I lose my SWEAT on December 30?

Not if you back up your private key or secret phrase. Your SWEAT is on the NEAR blockchain; with the key you can open the same account in another NEAR wallet such as Meteor Wallet or HOT Wallet after the app ends.

How do I cash out SWEAT?

Sweat's own guidance: swap SWEAT to wNEAR on Rhea Finance (dex.rhea.finance), the deepest pool, then swap onward to NEAR or a stablecoin, then send to an exchange after checking which network it accepts.

What happens to SWEAT in Grow Jars?

Since 12 October there is no minimum term; tap Empty All in Grow. Sweat says SWEAT left in Grow Jars will be transferred to the owner's NEAR account at some point after the window ends.
