How to back up your Sweat Wallet private key (and keep your SWEAT after December 30)
In the app: Profile → Security → View private key → Copy private key. The app asks for your secret phrase and shows the key derived from it.
Save the key in a password manager or other safe place together with your NEAR account ID (the name at the top of your wallet).
Your secret phrase itself is also a full backup; Meteor Wallet and HOT Wallet can import it directly.
Test: import the account into Meteor Wallet or HOT Wallet and check your balances. Backing up changes nothing in the Sweat app.
Don't remove the Apple/Google sign-in keys or the secret-phrase login from your account. Sweat warns that can make the backed-up private key unusable. Never type the key into a website you reached from a link or message.
Problems
I don't see "View private key"
It appears only for wallets with a secret phrase. Tap Add secret phrase first (small gas fee; write the phrase down), then View private key appears.
The app asks for a secret phrase I never created
You can't export yet. Keep your Apple or Google login, don't reset or delete the wallet, and wait for the easier backup Sweat promised by 15 October 2026, or contact support@swe.at.
Which wallets can import my Sweat account?
Sweat names Meteor Wallet and HOT Wallet; any NEAR wallet that imports a private key or secret phrase works.
